Let me know if you’re looking for one — 6/100
After my swim two days ago, one of the Korean ladies that I sort of became friends with at Gold’s Gym asked from the lane next to me,
“Do you have a boyfriend?”
“Haha no, I don’t.” — I could already tell what was coming and I was getting ready to say, Let me live!!!!! Hahaha jkjk. But almost.
“Well, let me know if you’re looking for one.”
And that was it hahah. If I knew how to blush, I might have, for some reason. I just did what I always do — crack up.
I said something along the lines of “Yeah, sure” and “Yeah, I don’t know” between my laughter lol. I really did not know how to respond.
She laughed too.
I thought to myself, maybe I should put her up to it. I don’t think I’ve ever really gone on a date through a person I know. Except once, many many moons ago, before I knew what I wanted and what I could offer.
I figure, if she feels strongly enough, I’m sure she’ll ask again. But it’s definitely not something I feel strongly enough about to bring up haha.
Yeah, how weird would that be for me to approach her “casually” one day and say… shoot I don’t even know how I would bring that up hahah. Such an awkward thing. Then I’ll look super desperate or something, right?! Like who would
I just thought it was interesting. I think there is an army out there trying to get twenty and thirty-year-olds hitched.
Anyway, it’s been quite a struggle writing while my friend is in town. So, I will give myself some grace and not fulfill my 500 word count. I still have to catch up one more day lol. I should be posting one more today.
